Marla Taylor was a member of Yeowomen volleyball teams that, between 1978 and 1984, captured three OWIAA gold medals, one CIAU silver medal and two CIAU bronze medals. Her record includes two CIAU all-Canadian honours and three OWIAA all-star selections. When her playing career was finished, Taylor proceeded to the coaching ranks, first as a York assistant and eventually as head coach at Alberta and Calgary.
