The York University women's soccer team won their second game of the week as they beat the McMaster Marauders 1-0 win on Friday night in Hamilton, Ont.
It was York's
Jessica Lush who scored the only goal of the game early in the sixth minute of the first half at Ron Joyce Stadium.
Lush, who also scored the only goal for York in their previous game against the Laurier Golden Hawks, has now gone back-to-back games with the game winning goal for the Lions.
York had six shots against McMaster's three in the first half while McMaster had eight shots in the second but were unable to score.
York goalkeeper
Tamara Orlando contributed to the Lions' win, making seven saves for the Lions and picked up her third win of the season with the shut out.
The Lions play against the Brock Badgers on Sunday, Sept. 16
