TORONTO, January 7 – Excitement is in the air as York University celebrated the OPENING of a new multi-use seasonal sports dome and turf conversion. The dome is one of Ontario's largest air-supported sports domes that is among the largest domes in the country. The facility is a 109,620 sq ft indoor multi-sport facility that supports sports such as Soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, Baseball, Cricket, Rugby and Football. The dome is heated and includes state-of-the-art LED lighting. The field can be split into 4 in order to maximize it's large space.
The Dome @ YLS supports many departments within Athletics & Recreation including intramurals, varsity athletics, recreation, fitness, and student sport clubs. The Dome can be rented to the community/external users and internal clubs/groups.

PARKING:
- All parking on York University's campus is PAID parking. Failure to comply with the York University Parking & Traffic Rules and Regulations, may result in the issuance of a City of Toronto parking violation
- The following parking lots are the closest lots to York Lions Stadium (see map below)
• Northwest Gate Lots (North, Middle & South)
• Thompson Rd Lots
• Founders Road East Lot
• Shoreham Lot
• Daily Parking Prices
• $1.75/half hour
• $10/day max (Thompson Rd Lot is a $15 daily max)
• Saturdays $7/day
• Sundays $5/day
How to pay?
• Parking Services transitioned to an exclusive digital payment environment. All pay machines on campus will accept VISA/Visa Debit, MasterCard/Debit MasterCard, American Express and YU-card. Cash and coins will no longer be accepted.
• To avoid line ups at the pay machines, the
HONK Mobile App is also a convenient way to pay for hourly/daily parking on campus. Please note - A Transaction/Service Fee will be applied to your session by HONK.

*NO food or drinks except water is allowed inside the dome
FACILITY INFO & POLICIES:
Access
• All users will enter and exit through the North Entrance Doors
• All participants and spectators will need to check in at the client services desk to be let in
Washrooms/Change rooms
• Team Room #5: Gender Neutral Washroom – This team room will be allocated as a gender-neutral washroom for all participants and spectators to use. An additional washroom may be available on some days in which we will allocate one for males and one for females
• There are additional wheelchair accessible washrooms available for use in the main lobby. All athletes should come ready in their athletic gear, however if needed these larger washrooms can be used to change
• There is a family washroom/gender neutral private washroom available to use
Policies
• Participants may not enter onto the field until it’s their scheduled time. They may not warm up on the field or sideline while other groups are in session
• All users MUST exit the field of play 10 minutes prior to their end time. Athletes/participants mut be on the sideline preparing to exit the building with 5 minutes prior to their end of booking time
• Spectators should provide a sufficient amount of space between and the sideline and or as directed as staff onsite
• Spectators should NOT be entering the field of play at any time
• Children should be accompanied by their parents at all times. Kicking balls or playing behind the sidelines is not permitted
