Â
Just before the end of the third, with the Lancers threatening to score and the ball on the three-yard line, fifth-year defensive back
Josh Small (Pickering, Ont.) made a huge play, strip-sacking Windsor quarterback Jalen Brady to give the Lions the ball. Hunchak completed a 66-yard pass to Adeboboye on the next play, but the drive ended in a punt.
Â
Â
Naylor connected on his third field goal of the game for the first points of the fourth, and Crawford rushed for his second touchdown of the contest a few minutes later for a 42-18 York lead. He had 166 yards on 28 carries in the game.
Â
On the next drive, the Lions went for it on 3-and-1 from near midfield and Johnson rushed straight up the middle and all the way to the end zone for a 45-yard score and his second touchdown, putting the game well out of reach at 49-18. He finished with 57 yards on six carries.
Â
Windsor scored two late touchdowns and Adeboboye got on the board between those two to round out the scoring.
