Join the Pride with the Lion Pride Program
Being a member of any team, you realize that your support system plays a critical role in being successful. That support could be from family, friends, coaches or people in the stands. The Lion Pride Fund gives these support systems an opportunity to play another critical role in the success of our student-athletes. By pledging your financial support to our York Lions athletes, you are taking a lead role in continuing York’s proud tradition of excellence and achievement in athletics and academics while making a significant impact on our 19 interuniversity teams and more than 550 student-athletes.
HOW DOES MY SUPPORT HELP?
The Lion Pride Fund provides direct and meaningful support for a specific York Lions team competing in a sport of your choosing, while at the same time enriching the already remarkable experience of all our York Lions with additional resources that enable them to compete at the highest possible level.
Your gift will not only enable York to recruit the best student-athletes and provide them with an outstanding York experience – both in the classroom and in the heat of competition – but it will also enable:
- Advanced training;
- Enhanced coaching and recruiting resources;
- Top-quality facilities for training and individual skill development; and,
- Increased opportunities for off-season training, exhibition and non-conference play (including national and international game experiences).
YOU WILL RECEIVE
