The York University's women's soccer team faced the Waterloo Warriors on Friday night in Waterloo, Ont., and played to scoreless 0-0 tied at Warrior Field.
The game saw very strong offensive plays from the Lions who shot five times against Waterloo's goalkeeper Morgan Berg but were unable to score. The Warriors had three shots against the Lions.
York's
Sia Papadopoulos had the most scoring attempts in the entire game. Papadopoulos had three shots, however, while
Jotam Chouhan and forward
Stephanie Lamanna had one shot each against the Warriors.
York goaltender
Tamara Orlando made three saves and picked up her fourth shut out of the season.
