Kiayani Johnson, assisted by her teammate
Farkhunda Muhtaj.
Ten minutes later, the Lions scored again, this time an unassisted goal from midfielder
Kalifornia Mitchell in the 26th minute. The Lions continued to put pressure on the Lancers for the remainder of the half, which resulted in another goal from Johnson only four minutes from the break.
Â
The Lions once again came out strong in the second half and scored their fourth goal in the 50th giving Johnson a hat-trick, making it her 11th goal of the season, tied for second in the OUA scoring race. The Lancers responded quickly, scoring only a minute later off a shot from Jessica Pagliu giving the Lancers a goal on the scoreboard.
Â
The Lions continued to dominate the game with their last goal in the 88th minute of the match from midfielder Muhtaj, assisted by
Haley Walsh, ending the game.
