The York University Lions men's volleyball team plays the last of four games at home to start the season this Friday night when they face the No. 4 nationally ranked McMaster Marauders at the Tait McKenzie Centre.

Last Meetings
Friday's meeting is a rematch of last year's OUA quarter-final contest, which the Marauders won in four sets en route to a conference silver medal. Overall, McMaster has won four straight against the Lions, with York's last victory coming in the regular season finale in 2015-16 when the Lions defeated the then No. 2 nationally ranked Marauders in four sets.

Dan Everton – Earned OUA East all-rookie team honours last season. He is 14
th in the OUA with 5.92 assists per set and leads the Lions with 1.38 digs per set.
McMaster
OH Matt Passalent – The reigning OUA West most valuable player and a first-team all-star. He is second in team scoring this year with 3.4 points per set and first with 3.09 kills per set, tying him for ninth and seventh in the OUA, respectively.
OH Sam Cooper – The rookie is tied for third in the OUA with 0.55 aces per set. He is also third on the team with 2.8 points per set, putting him in the top 25 in the OUA.
