QUICK FACTS
Â
York
- The Lions return home after dropping a pair of games against the Western Mustangs 3-0 and No. 10 nationally ranked Windsor Lancers 3-1.
- With two players ranked top three in the OUA in services aces per set, it's no surprise the Lions lead the province as a team with 2.25 service aces per set.
- On the flip side, the Lions have struggled on the defensive end ranking second in the OUA in reception errors with 55 in 24 sets of action.
- This will be the final game of the fall schedule for the Lions who will resume action in the new year against the Waterloo Warriors on Jan. 11th.
Â
RMC
- The Paladins are coming off a pair of losses on the road against the Ryerson Rams 3-0, and Queen's Gaels 3-1.
- Despite their record, standing tall against the net has been the Paladins greatest strength this season. The team ranks fifth in the OUA in solo blocks with 30 in 24 sets of action.
- It has been a challenging start to the season for the visiting side, and their offense hasn't been favourable. The Paladins rank 13 out of 14 in kills per set with 6.83, in assists per set with 5.71, and in points per set with 9.5.
- Like the Lions, this will be the final game of the calendar year for the Excalibur who will resume their season in 2020 on the road against the Trent Excalibur.
