National Indigenous History Month

In recognition of National Indigenous History Month, we spotlight Larissa Crawford (her pronouns are she and her) to our Lions Nation! Larissa is a restorative circle keeper, published Indigenous and anti-racist researcher, and award-winning ribbon skirt artist, and she proudly passes on her Métis and Jamaican ancestry to her daughter, Zyra (a.k.a. Zy).

Larissa attended York University from 2013 – 18. Many of our Lions Nation Alumni may remember her welcoming smile at the Tait McKenzie Centre Customer Service desk, and she continues to be an active, friendly, outgoing force to be reckoned with!
