The York University Lions men's volleyball team will return to the Tait McKenzie Centre this weekend. They are set to host the Toronto Varsity Blues for a two-game home opening series, with matches scheduled for Friday and Saturday at 8:00 pm. 

The Lions enter the series with a 3-1 record against the Varsity Blues' undefeated 2-0 start. The team's performance is currently underpinned by several players leading the OUA statistics. Colby Soolsma leads the league in kills with 57. Jasraj Nijjar ranks second in the OUA for both digs (32) and assists per set (9.72). Further strengthening the lineup, Bodhi Jones is third in kills (46) and fifth in digs (25), while Alex Dorling holds the fourth-best hitting percentage at 0.455. This depth of skill foreshadows the weekend to be a competitive series against the Varsity Blues who are every year a strong team in OUA volleyball.
