2014: Participated in the Toronto regional combine ahead of the CFL draft … Appeared in all eight games and played at both defensive end and linebacker … Led the Lions in total tackles (49.5), tackles for loss (6.5) and sacks (six) … Also had one pass break-up … Earned York’s Andre Durie Special Teams MVP Award.
 
2013: Participated in the 2014 East West Bowl … Started seven games at middle linebacker … Ranked second on the team with 28 tackles … Also recorded two pass break-ups and an assisted sack … Is the team’s active leader with 116.5 career tackles, the third-best total at York since 2002.

2011: Started all eight games at middle linebacker … Earned the team’s Frank Cosentino MVP Trophy as a rookie … Led the Lions in tackles in his first year, with 50, including 3.5 for loss. His 50 tackles were the fifth most at York since 2002.
 
Personal: Brother, Hasan, is a defensive lineman with the CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats and previously attended Wake Forest in the NCAA.
