University of South Alabama: Was the Jaguars’ first ever starting quarterback in 2009, when the squad joined the NCAA for the first time … Started six of seven games in the inaugural season and played in seven in 2010 … For his career, threw 865 yards and nine touchdowns and ran for 267 yards and three scores, for a total offence of 1,132 yards … Graduated in 2011 with a degree in psychology.
 
Vanier College: Guided the Cheetahs to the Bol d’Or title in each of his first two years … Was selected as the league’s most valuable player and to its all-star team in third season, when he was also voted the Bol d’Or championship MVP … Set the school record for most touchdowns in a season, scoring 25 in eight games in 2007 … Was teammates with defensive lineman Kellen Aiken.
