Lions Sports: Track and Field.
The Toronto Track and Field Centre has both indoor and outdoor facilities and is home to the Lions track and field team and the York University Track Club. The centre has over 80 special events each year, attracting approximately 200,000 people. It has been the host venue for multiple OUA and National Championships and will also be the site of the 2019Â OUA track and field championships in February.
The nature and character of the centre lends itself to both daily training and high-calibre track and field competitions. In total, the combined indoor/outdoor facilities occupy approximately 14 acres of land (fronting on Steele Avenue West) with ample parking on the York University campus.
