The 21^st annual York University Lions Cup Golf Tournament represents an opportunity to support York University's varsity student-athletes and a rich culture of pride and excellence.

York is home to more than 500 varsity student-athletes who work tirelessly to excel in athletics and academics. Our Lions are a special group of young people who are among the best in the country in their chosen sport while also being high achievers in the classroom and role models in their communities.

The York University Lions Cup began in 2001 as the Chair's Cup. Marshall Cohen, then Chair of the York University Board of Governors, and his wife, Judi, envisioned creating a "friend-raiser" as well as a fundraiser, to rally friends, alumni and other supporters around a great cause – student financial aid. To date the event has raised more than $5 million dollars for York University students.

The 2024 tournament will be held at the elegant and sophisticated Kings Riding Golf Club in King City on Tuesday, May 28^th, 2024.
