A message from the Flag Football Club:
The York University Women's Flag Football team provides a safe space for student athletes to train and compete at a collegiate level. Our team participates in invitational tournament's for the Ontario Women's Intercollegiate Football Association (OWIFA), which consists of a 5v5 season starting in September-November as well as an 11v11 contact-flag season from January to April. The clubs objective is to provide an inclusive environment where dedicated female-identifying students can learn, make connections, and experience the sport of football while competing at the provincial level. We are always looking to expand our team! All skill levels are welcome.

Practice schedule:
Practices are held two days a week during both the fall and winter season.
Fall season: Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00-9:00pm at South Utility Field
Winter season: Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00-9:00 pm at Alumni Field
Tournament days for 11v11 season:
Qualifier #1: February 8, 2025 at Waterloo University
Qualifier #2: March 8, 2025 at Laurier University
Championship tournament: March 22 and 23th location TBD.
Upcoming 5v5 provincial showcase tournament is taking place April. Location and time TBD!
