Blount is heading into her second year of the athletic therapy program. She has already obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and is concurrently completing another in Kinesiology. Blount is a former varsity athlete with the field hockey team from 2005-10. During that time, she was carded with Team Canada from 2007-2010 as a goal keeper.
