Nathaniel “Shake” Griffith returned to the Lions coaching staff in 2016 as an offensive assistant after previously serving in the same role in 2014. He is also the offensive coordinator with the York Region Lions in the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).
He spent three seasons with the Lions as a receiver (2010-12) and was also a team captain. Prior to coming to York he played for the Brampton Bulldogs in the OVFL and at Vanier College in Montreal. He also served as a receivers coach for the Bulldogs for two seasons.
Griffith is also the full-time equipment services and stadium attendant in York University’s Athletics & Recreation department.
