Russ Hoff

    Assistant Coach (Offensive Line)
Russ Hoff was added to the Lions coaching staff in 2016 to assist mostly in recruiting and also to work with the offensive line, returning to a program where he previously played during his varsity career.
 
Hoff, who also spent time as a player with the Toronto Varsity Blues, has served as a coach and administrator in the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) since 2004. From 2004-09 he was first a coach and then organizational president of the Etobicoke Eagles, overseeing a varsity team that reached the conference finals four times and won the varsity championship in 2006. He has since gone on to work with the Metro Toronto Wildcats and, most recently, the GTA Grizzlies.
 
Hoff has been a high school teacher and football coach since 2003. He won the Toronto Bowl championship with Richview Collegiate Institute in 2006 and in 2010 founded the football program at Downsview Secondary School, ultimately leading the team to back-to-back Tier 2 city championships in 2012 and 2013.
