Vince Hamilton has been with the Lions coaching staff since 2014 as an assistant on both sides of the ball. He has coached both the offensive and defensive lines since coming to York and serves the same role with the York Region Lions in the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).

Hamilton had a five-year varsity career with the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks and then spent two seasons as an offensive line coach with the same program. He also served as the offensive and defensive coordinator for the TNT Express in the OMFL from 2007-14 and coached the offensive and defensive lines for Banting and Nantyr Shores high schools in that same time frame.

Away from football, Hamilton is president of Full Scan Consulting, designing scientific instruments for biotechnology, and he is also a firefighter in Innisfil.
