Biography

2019: Started five games at defensive end after an injury forced him to miss three games in the middle of the season … Finished with 17 tackles, including five tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks … Also recorded a forced fumble … Selected in the seventh round (59th overall) by the Edmonton Eskimos in the 2020 CFL Draft.
 
2018: Earned OUA first-team all-star honours for first time in career … Started seven games at defensive end and missed one with injury … Led team and ranked fourth in the OUA with nine tackles for a loss … Led team and tied for seventh in the OUA with four sacks … Recorded 24 tackles which tied for fourth overall on team … Broke up two passes … Earned the team’s Mike Benevides Lineman of the Year Award … Participated in the 2019 East-West Bowl.
 
2017: Earned OUA second-team all-star honours for the first time … Started all eight games at defensive end … Ranked third in the OUA in tackles for loss (12) for an OUA-leading 68 yards lost … Tied for ninth in the OUA with four sacks … Also ranked second on the team and 21st in the OUA with 37 tackles and added two fumble recoveries and two pass break-ups … Named the OUA’s defensive player of the week after five tackles, two sacks for a loss of 19 yards and one fumble recovery for a touchdown against Toronto … Earned the team’s Nobby Wirkowski Defensive MVP Award.
 
2016: Earned OUA all-rookie team honours … Started all eight games as a rookie defensive end … Ranked first among rookies in the OUA in total sacks (five) and tackles for loss (seven), putting him sixth and ninth, respectively, among all players … Tied for seventh on the Lions in total tackles (30) … Also had one forced fumble and one pass break-up.
 
CEGEP: Spent three seasons playing defensive end with Edouard-Montpetit.
 
Provincial/national: Won the silver medal with Team Canada at the 2014 U19 world junior championships in Kuwait … Represented Canada at the U19 International Bowl in Texas that same year.
