Brandon Emmanuel joined the Lions coaching staff in 2017 and is already a part of the York community as an academic advisor in Central Advising.
He previously spent one season as the sport programming coordinator for the OUA. He brings to the Lions plenty of experience working with student-athletes, serving as the academic support coordinator at Canisius College and an academic advisor for student-athletes at UCLA. He also spent two seasons as a regional advanced scout with the NBA’s Orlando Magic.
He had his own playing career in the OUA, spending three seasons with Ryerson and helping the Rams reach the OUA East Division final in 2003. He completed his undergraduate degree with Laurentian University and went on to earn a master of sport administration from Canisius College.
