Wayne Parro joined the Lions coaching staff in 2012. He is the executive director of Coaches of Canada and is a graduate of the National Coaching Institute (NCI). He has High Performance 1 certification in hockey and has many years of coaching and administration experience in AAA hockey in Ontario.
He is also a coach educator with the Ontario Minor Hockey Association, a master learning facilitator with Baseball Canada and a learning facilitator in NCCP multi-sport coach education. Parro has international coaching experience and is a former coach with the women’s national team program for Baseball Canada.
