Professional: Selected in the third round (69^th overall) by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft … Spent parts of three seasons in the AHL and ECHL with the Charlotte Checkers and Florida Everblades, appearing in 81 total games.
 
Provincial/national: Started five games for Team Canada at the Ivan Hlinka U18 tournament in 2011, including in the gold-medal final won by Canada … Was the starting goaltender for Canada at the U17 World Hockey Challenge, winning the gold medal and finishing the tournament with the best goals against average and save percentage and being named to the all-tournament team.
 
Junior: Spent three seasons with the Oshawa Generals in the OHL, starting 140 regular-season games and another 25 in the playoffs … Had his best season in 2013-14 with a 2.56 goals against average and .917 save percentage in 52 games … Had the best goals against average as a rookie goaltender in 2011-12 and was named to the OHL first all-rookie team.
