2020-21: Season cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic … Was named York’s male athlete of the year for his outstanding contributions to diabetes research and social justice initiatives … Received the Charles Saundercook Memorial Trophy, the award given to a student-athlete within the varsity sport program who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship, enthusiasm for life and the consideration of others … Received his team’s Bill Purcell Community Leadership Award for the second straight season.
 
2019-20: Did not play due to injury … Earned the team’s Bill Purcell Community Leadership Award … Earned U SPORTS academic all-Canadian honours.

Junior: Played in 156 regular-season games over four seasons in the SJHL with the Notre Dame Hounds and Humboldt Broncos … Recorded 65 total points (25 goals, 40 assists) in SJHL including a career-high 32 with Humboldt in 2017-18 where he served as assistant captain.
 
Personal: Started ‘Dahlgren’s Diabeauties,’ a program aimed at supporting local kids with Type 1 diabetes … Has received numerous awards for his charitable work, including a Government of Canada’s Emerging Leader Award and the Diabetes Canada Kurt Kroesen National Inspiration Award.
