Junior: Started his junior career with the Winnipeg Freeze of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) earning 35 points over 48 games... Played his second year of junior with the Powell River Kings of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) logging 30 points in 52 games... In his third year of junior he played for the Sherwood Park Crusaders who competed in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) as well as the BCHL... As a Crusader, he tallied 38 points from 65 games... He concluded his junior career with the Flin Flon Bombers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) earning 69 points from 56 games.
