John Jonke joined the Lions coaching staff in 2012 and has a tremendous amount of collegiate and professional playing experience.
 
A defender at various positions in the back, he started every game in a four-year career at the University of Louisville between 2005-09. He played in two consecutive NCAA tournaments and the Cardinals ranked in the top 10 in both 2007 and 2008. After graduation he went on to play professionally in Finland before moving back to the North America, where he spent one year with Baltimore in USSF DII and one year with FC Edmonton in the NASL.
