High school: Received the Black and White Athletics Scholarship at Longfields Davidson Heights … Was the male athlete of the year at high school … Received the volleyball Coaches Award and was named MVP of the curling team.

Personal: Both parents have had experience coaching and playing for Team Canada WaterPolo, many national and international awards ... Mother, Cyndie, coached the uOttawa women's waterpolo team to a national championship and was a commentator at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
