Sheldon White joined the Lions coaching staff in 2015 after six seasons as an assistant coach with the junior and senior boys basketball teams at Port Credit Secondary School. Currently, he convenes the adult basketball league for the City of Mississauga.
 
He has been a certified basketball official with the Peel Regional Board of Approved Basketball Officials for eight years, and received the Dale Carnegie Highest Achievement Award, voted on by his peers.
