Stephanie Lockert joined the Lions coaching staff in 2013. She had a stellar playing career in the CIS with the Toronto Varsity Blues. A goaltender with the Blues for five seasons, she earned CIS all-Canadian and OUA all-star honours two times each and went on to spend two seasons with the Vaughan Flames in the Canadian Women’s Hockey League (CWHL).

Lockert graduated from the University of Toronto with an honours degree in life science and a master’s degree in public health. Away from the rink, she is a senior policy advisor for the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.
