Biography

Profile: A highly-skilled defender with a great first pass. She quarterback’s the power play and can play at both ends of the ice.
 
2015-16: Appeared in all 24 games on defence … Tied for fifth on the Lions in points with nine (three goals, six assists) … Tied for first on team in points by a defenceman … Recorded two-assist game in 5-1 victory over Ryerson.
 
2014-15: Played in all 24 games on defence … Earned first-team OUA all-star and CIS all-Canadian honours, becoming just the second women’s hockey player to be recognized twice on the national level … Led all defenders in the OUA in goals (seven), assists (13) and points (20), all career highs … Scoring totals ranked second in the CIS in points and assists and third in goals … Selected for the OUA all-star team that faced the U18 women’s national team in December.
 
2013-14: Appeared in 22 games on defence … Earned OUA second-team all-star honours for the second time … Led the Lions in assists (nine) and total points (15), and was third in the OUA in scoring by blueliners.
 
2012-13: Appeared in all 26 games on the blue line … Finished first on the team in assists (eight) and tied for second in scoring with 12 points … Tied for 10th in OUA scoring by defenders … Tied for the team lead with two power play goals … Led the Lions with 28 penalty minutes.
 
2011-12: Earned York’s female rookie of the year award, the first hockey player to receive the honour … Named to the CIS all-rookie team as one of the top two first-year defenders in the country … Also a member of the OUA all-rookie team and an OUA second-team all-star … Finished first in the OUA and second in the CIS in rookie defender scoring with 15 points … Was seventh overall in OUA rookie scoring, and fourth in the OUA and 15th in the CIS in scoring among all defenders.
 
Club: Appeared in 70 regular-season games over two seasons with the Stoney Creek Sabres in the PWHL … Tallied 23 points (7 goals, 16 assists) … Was captain in her final year.
 
High school: Recipient of the OFSAA Colin Hood Award in final season in 2011 … Earned the female hockey MVP award in 2010.
