Meagan Wilson joined the Lions rugby staff in advance of the 2021 season. She is a decorated former varsity rugby player looking to pass her experience onto the next generation; she won a CIS national championship in 2015 with McMaster.

Away from York, she continues to give back to the sport by coaching the Norfolk Harvesters U7s minis and U17 Girls, the Brantford Jesters 7s program and serving on coaching staffs at local high schools like Holy Trinity and McKinnon Park.

Meagan helped establish Iroquois Roots Rugby in 2017 and was awarded the National Indigenous Coach of the Year for 2019.
