Felicia Turone joined the Lions coaching staff in 2013 after a tremendous five-year playing career. One of the top defenders in the OUA during her time with the Lions, she earned OUA all-star honours twice, won the 2009 OUA championship and was a team captain in each of her last two seasons.
 
She also excelled in the classroom, earning CIS academic-all-Canadian honours, and in 2012 was named York’s representative for the OUA Women of Influence luncheon and the recipient of the Bryce M. Taylor Award.
