Since 2010, Luca Forno has been the Associate Coach with the York University Lions Men’s Program while also managing both the Men’s and Women’s programs. Forno, who played one season at Francis Marion University before transferring home to York University where he graduated with a BA in Administrative Studies. Forno played 4 years at York University where he was the captain for 3 years (2007-2009) earned the team MVP award in the squad’s OUA title-winning campaign in 2007 and helped guide the Lions win the 2008 U-SPORTS championship. Forno’ accolades as a coach with the program include 5 OUA titles (2013,2014,2015,2017,2018) and 3 National titles (2010, 2014, 2015).
Forno also currently works as the Ontario Player Development League Director at Vaughan Soccer Club while also coaching in the same League. He is also a Referee Liaison with Major League Soccer at Toronto FC games. Forno currently holds a Canada Soccer National B License as well as a Canada Soccer National Children’s License.
