Marilyn Grammenopoulos joined the Lions coaching staff in 2017 after spending five years as a midfielder with the program. She finished her career in 2016 as a U SPORTS second-team all-Canadian for the first time and also received York’s prestigious Bryce M. Taylor Award for her outstanding contributions to Lions athletics.
 
Throughout her career she was also a three-time OUA West all-star, a PAWS mentor and an active member of the York Sport Council, as well as a peer mentor at Shoreham Public School and a regular volunteer with Athletes in Action.
