Alyssa Wolf

Alyssa Wolf joined the Lions coaching staff in 2019 after a tremendous playing career that included a two-year stint playing professionally for an elite club team in Førde, Norway. During her time there, she was a part of the club’s history in winning back-to-back Norwegian Cups, placing second in the Nordic Cup and qualifying to compete in the European Challenge Cup.
 
Wolf spent her club career at the Seaside volleyball club and was a member of the Team BC program throughout her youth, earning silver medals at both the Western Canada Games in 2011 and the Canada Summer Games in 2013. She went on to play at Vancouver Island University, where she helped the team win PacWest championships in 2012 and 2014 and a national title in 2012. She was an academic all-Canadian and earned her physical education diploma. She concluded her varsity career at Thompson Rivers University, where she helped the team qualify for the CanWest playoffs for the first time in seven years and earned her bachelor of interdisciplinary studies degree.
 
In addition to coaching the Lions, she is the head coach of the Galaxy U16 club team.
