Alana King became a member of the Lions wrestling coaching staff in 2012. She is a former varsity athlete from the powerhouse Brock Badgers wrestling program and had a stellar career, winning three CIS medals in the 48kg division, including the national gold in 2006, and was named the OUA’s most outstanding female award at the 2006 OUA championships.
 
King represented Canada at two World University Championships, winning a silver in 2006 and a bronze in 2008, and has continued wrestling at international events since finishing her varsity career at Brock in 2008
