Miyuu Yamamoto joined the Lions wrestling coaching staff in 2012 and is one of the most decorated female wrestlers of her generation. Competing in her native Japan, she won the first of her eight national titles at age 13, in 1987, and went on to win three world championship gold medals (1991, 1994 and 1995).
