Dr. Rick Zarnett is the head of orthopaedic surgery at Humber River Regional Hospital.
 
He received his orthopaedic surgery training at the University of Toronto after completing a master’s degree in medical science from the same institution. Dr. Zarnett did fellowship training in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery with Dr. R. Jackson and Dr. D. Ogilvie-Harris and has worked with and treated professional and amateur athletes since 1990.
 
He has previously been a member of the medical staff for the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team and is currently the head physician for the Toronto Argonauts football team, in addition to his work with the student-athletes at York. He is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America. His clinical interests include arthroscopic surgery and knee and shoulder reconstruction.
