The York men's soccer team won their second game of the week and third game in a row with a 4-0 win against the Laurier Golden Hawks on Friday at Laurier's University Stadium.

York dominated the first half as they took 12 shots in the opening half and scored all four goals in the first half of the game.

Maurizio Ragone managed to score two of the four goals, which all came within the first 26 minutes. His first goal occurred in the 14th minute of the game. Just 41 seconds later, Lions forward
Omar Marzouk scored the second goal, while Ragone came through the third tally in the 22
nd minute and midfield
Jorgo Nika picked up the fourth in the 26

The second half of the game did not see any goals by either York or Laurier. However, York continued to dominate the second half with nine shots to Laurier's five. In total, the Lions had 21 shots while Laurier had eight. Ragone led the Lions with a total of six shots while Marzouk had four.

The Lions will try to win their fourth game in a row on Thursday, Sept. 6 at 8:15pm at Alumni Field when they play against the Golden Hawks again for Frosh Frenzy.
