The York University men's hockey team came up short against their crosstown rivals, the Toronto Varsity Blues, as they were downed 4-0 at the Canlan Ice Sports on Saturday afternoon.
 Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Blues forward Kyle Potts opened the scoring in the first period, sliding one past Cole Ceci in the Lions net and into the bottom right corner of the net to give the Blues a 1-0 lead at 10:11.
- Lions open the second period with a barrage of shots against the Blues netminder, Alex Bishop, totalling 11 shots. However, Potts once again finds the back of the Lions net on a rebound from a prior Ceci save and takes a commanding 2-0 lead for the Blues.
- Emmett Serensits and Ross Krieger would add two more tallies to cap off their 4-0 win.
