Isaac Bradbury both scored two goals each, as the York University Lions men's soccer team put on an explosive offensive performance against the Windsor Lancers Friday night in Windsor, Ont.

York would go on to take a 6-0 victory, their largest margin of victory since a 10-2 win over the RMC Paladins on Oct. 9, 2021.  Â

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lions wasted no time getting their offence rolling, earning a flurry of opportunities throughout the early stages of the match. Soji Olatoye was able to capitalize early with a shot past Lancers goaltender Brandon Gaudreau in the game's 12th minute.
- Six minutes later, Pedro Aparicio found an opening between the blue and white jerseys for his first of the season as he strikes it into the top left corner, giving York a two-goal cushion heading into halftime.
- Olatoye added another marker for the Lions, heading it past Gaudreau off a corner kick, securing a 3-0 lead just two minutes into the second half.Â
- The Lions continued their dominance late into the second as Justin Cicchillo and Isaac Bradbury would each add their first-career OUA goals to lead 5-0.
- Bradbury rounded out a memorable evening with another goal, beating Gaudreau in the 85th minute to secure the team's first win of the season.
NOTABLE NUMBERS
- The Lions were led by Olatoye with three shots on net, and all three shots on goal, followed by Bradbury, Aparicio, and Joey Mac, who registered two shots each. Â
- The Lions outshot the Lancers 14-3, with 12 shots on goal.
