HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lions and TMU kicked off the game in an intense environment. They traded leads, with York beginning the game on an 8-0 run. TMU would then match that with a 12-0 run of their own to take the lead, while holding off York at the end of the quarter. The Bold held a 19-18 lead at the end of the frame. Lauren Golding's 11 points led the way for York.
- The game stayed tight into the third quarter. TMU entered halftime with a two-point lead, 38-36, and extended it to 53-48 through three quarters.
- Rachel Farwell's team-leading 20 points ultimately came in handy in the fourth quarter, as the Bold steadily built their lead and eventually pulled away with a double-digit road victory.
- Golding would finish the game with a team-lead 19 points for the Lions, and a double-double with 10 rebounds as she chases the OUA's rebounds per game crown.
