The York University Lions football team hit the road to face the Guelph Gryphons on their home turf, eager for their first win of the season. However, the Gryphons emerged victorious, winning the game 88-7 and displaying a strong performance.
How It Happened:

• The Guelph Gryphons lead the first half of the game, 52 - 0 as Jakob Thomas assisted the leading touchdown.
• Melchis Ilunga scored York's first points of the game with a touchdown just 45 seconds before half-time, earning the Lions 6 points.
• The Lions attempted to mount a comeback in the second half of the game, but their efforts proved ineffective.
• The York Football team played outstanding defence at first, but they were unable to prevent the Gryphons from scoring. Despite displaying offensive glimpses, the Lions frequently failed to maintain drives.
• Eventually, the Gryphons walked away with a 88 - 7 victory
