Operations Suspended for Monday January 26

Jan 26, 2026 - The University Weather Emergency Procedures have been extended into tomorrow on all York campuses and property.

All Athletics & Recreation morning/afternoon programming is cancelled and facilities are closed.


An update regarding evening and overnight operations will be shared by 3:00 p.m.
 

All in-person classes, labs, and tutorials scheduled for the morning and afternoon of Monday January 26, 2026, will be postponed, cancelled, or, where possible, changed to remote delivery. All online and remote classes, tests, and exams will continue as scheduled where possible, as determined by the instructor. Students should check email, eClass, or other course delivery platforms for updates from their instructors.

 University offices and libraries offering in-person services are suspended.

Remote services continue, with some possible delays. 

The Schulich Executive Education Centre (SEEC), Executive Learning Centre (ELC) and Osgoode Professional Development (OPD) downtown locations may remain operational. For information on classes in downtown professional development centres and the Executive Learning Centre please contact the centres directly.
All shuttles including Glendon, Keele, and Markham are suspended and will resume the morning after the Weather Emergency Procedures are lifted. Check the York Shuttle App for updates and schedules.

Where applicable, staff and faculty should continue to work remotely. Community members are encouraged to remain vigilant on their way to, while at, or when leaving the University and to take necessary personal precautions to reduce the risk of injury due to weather conditions.
