  • All games will consist of two 12 minute run time periods. There will be no stop time for these games. Playoff games will consist of two 15 minute runtime periods.
  • All games will start at game time. The clock will begin running and will continue to do so until both teams are ready to begin. If one team is ready and the other is not, a 2 minute delay of game penalty will be assessed.  A team will default if they are not ready to play at the end of the first period.
  • The captain and two assistants should be identified with a "C" or "A" on their jerseys. Only these individuals shall speak to the referees. Verbal abuse of an official will not be tolerated.
  • Any player assessed three minor penalties will be ejected from the game. The player must go directly to the dressing room and shall not leave the room unless directly leaving the premises. Any player that leaves the dressing room and continues to argue with any official will be automatically assessed a three game suspension and will be under review for further suspension.
  • If a player receives a major penalty in the last five minutes of the game, they will receive a one game suspension. Any ten minute misconduct or game misconduct in the third period will result in a one game suspension. • A win will be two points in the standings, a tie is one and a loss is zero points.
  • Pond hockey rules will be used.  This means that when the goaltender covers the puck, the offensive team must give room for the defending team to move the puck.  After goals, the offensive team must clear the zone before attacking.  The referee will watch for any infractions of this rule.
  • All penalties will be penalty shot.
