RULES AND REGULATIONS

Intramural Cricket Tournament

  • The umpire's word is final. There will be no arguments and over appealing. The umpire has the right to give a no-ball in that occasion. Any aggressive move against the umpire can lead to the disqualification of the team.
  • There will be a total of 9 players in a team. The teams must provide 11 players name and choose 9 from those 11 for a game.
  • No one player can play for more then one team
  • There must be a captain present for the game and the toss. If the team is 10 minutes late, they are disqualified from the match.
  • There must me at least seven players present for it to be considered as a team.
  • There are no LBWs.
  • There are no Leg Byes. But byes are allowed.
  • Over throws are allowed.
  • Standard no ball rules.
  • In a 10 over game the team must have at least four ballers, two balling three overs and two balling two. Playoff may see more overs and adjustments will be made accordingly.
  • Rest of the cricket rules apply. There could be some home rules, which will be revealed before the games.
  • Time limit is 1.5 hours.
