York University Lions Camps
York University Lions Camps offer a fun, active, and welcoming summer experience for children and youth ages 4–14. Designed to build confidence, friendships, and a love for movement, our camps combine sports, recreation, creativity, and hands-on learning in a safe and supportive university environment.
Programs are available for:
-
Little Lions (Ages 4–7) – Play-based movement, sports, creativity, and confidence-building
-
Mighty Lions (Ages 8–12) – Sports, fitness, challenges, and themed activity weeks
-
Junior Lions (Ages 11–14) – Independence-focused programming and university-style recreation experiences
Each week features a unique theme and a mix of activities such as sports, swimming, obstacle courses, science, creative projects, and team challenges — all led by energetic York University student leaders.
Children are grouped by age to ensure programming is safe, developmentally appropriate, and engaging, with activities tailored to each group.
