QUICK FACTS

York
  • The Lions have not played at home since recording a 2-0 win over McMaster in mid September. Since then they have played in six contests on the road, putting up three straight ties and then three victories over Waterloo, Laurier and Brock.
  • The Lions have not lost an OUA regular-season contest since Oct. 19, 2014, a span of 28 games in which they have a 24-0-4 record. They have outscored their opponents 88-11 in that stretch.
  • The Lions are ranked No. 4 in the CIS, marking the 15th straight week they have earned a spot in the national rankings.
  • The Lions have already secured a playoff spot in the OUA West standings and can earn a first-round bye with a top-two finish. They are currently in first place with a four-point cushion on second-place Western.

Guelph
  • The only team with a longer winning streak than the Lions' three games is the Gryphons four. They have posted four straight shutouts over Algoma (twice), Laurier and Waterloo, outscoring their opponents 14-0 in that stretch.
  • The Gryphons have allowed only six goals in 12 games, tied for the second lowest mark in the division behind the four given up by York.
  • With seven wins, the Gryphons have already surpassed last year's win total (six) with four games still remaining. They have already clinched a playoff spot and are within striking distance of a first-round bye, just two points back of Western.

Brock
  • The Badgers went on a run of three wins in four games to close out September but have since lost three in a row to start October, to Windsor, Western and York. They are currently one point out of the final playoff spot in the OUA West.
  • With four wins, the Badgers have already tied last year's win total with four games remaining. They have already scored more goals than they did all of last season, with 20 this year and only 18 last year.
