YORK HOPES TO KEEP HOT STREAK GOING AS THEY WELCOME MCMASTER AND BROCK THIS WEEKEND

On the back of a four-game unbeaten streak and four straight shutouts, the York Lions women's soccer team hosts the McMaster Marauders on Friday night and the Brock Badgers on Sunday afternoon this weekend. The Friday night game against the Marauders doubles as York 9 FC Day and will feature contest promotions and giveaways at both the men's and women's games.

G Tamara Orlando – The Lions fifth-year keeper is on a hot-streak of her own, recording shutouts in her last four games. After giving up four goals to Western in the first game of the season, Orlando has only given up four goals in seven games.
 
F Sia Papadopoulos – Papadopoulos has been an offensive threat all season long for the Lions, leading the team with four goals, 15 shots and 11 shots on goal.  
 
McMaster
 
F Stephanie Roberts – Senior forward Stephanie Roberts has scored seven of the teams 13 goals so far this year and ranks third in the OUA in goals scored on the season.
 
S Lindsay Bosveld – Second on the team in shots (22) and shots on goal (15) and has scored two goals so far this season.
 
Brock
